我的危险夫人 My dangerous lady Chinese novel Chapter 2

 Chapter 2

Xue Hao: "I will return your original words."

As soon as the master of Jiuping Peak arrived, he heard the quarrel between the two.

When he got closer, he saw at a glance the lifeless three-legged phoenix at the feet of the young men. Its beautiful and soft feathers had been ruthlessly cut off by the sword energy, and its top was completely bald. Its death was horrible.

The leader of Jiuping Peak couldn't help but repeat in his heart: It's over, it's really over.

"Brother, please say less. The master of Yunshan Peak has arrived." The junior sister following behind Pei Wenjue reminded quietly.

The two teenagers fell silent at the same time.

The Great Pharmacist waved his hand in annoyance: "Master Bai Feng, please take these two jinxes away quickly. This matter has nothing to do with us. If the Madam blames them, they will bear full responsibility."

The master of Jiuping Peak was surnamed Bai, and he was in charge of Jiuping Peak in Kunlun Yunshan Mountain. He was one of the six masters. Only his peers called him Master Bai, and the younger generation called him Master Jiuping Peak.

At this moment, he had a simple and honest expression, and he looked at the two young men helplessly, and sighed, "I can't make the decision on this matter. Come with me to Shangyun Peak and talk to my wife in person."

The people present had different expressions.

Wushan's junior sister was worried about her young master. After all, she had just overheard the discord between Madam Wushan and Madam Yunshan a few days ago. In order to prevent her young master from being bullied, she immediately sent a message back to Wushan.

There are three mountains in Kunlun, which are called immortal mountains. They have the same vein but different origins, and their sects and techniques are also different, but they are integrated as one, and are called Kunlun Immortal Mountains.

This means that each of the three mountains has its own leader, but they are still one big family. The techniques, sword techniques, and spells they practice are different, but their mental methods are the same.

There are eighteen peaks in one mountain, except Yunshan, which has only six peaks, but it is the largest fairy mountain in Kunlun.

Shangyun Peak is at the highest point of Kunlun Mountain.

Chang Yao has lived here for three years. The surrounding area is shrouded in clouds and mist, with mountains on top of each other. The four seasons have different colors, each with its own merits. It is as beautiful as a fairyland and she has not yet tired of it.

The kitchen of the main hall of Shangyun Peak is on the edge of a cliff. When you open the window, you can see the dangerous cliff with no bottom in sight. Occasionally, white mist passes by, covering the tens of thousands of years old wisteria trees on the cliff.

The long board and windowsill on the window side are piled with many kitchen utensils or sauce jars. The peach tree outside the house casts a shadow on the window, and the wind blowing in from outside is warm and gentle.

"Mr. Yunshan has been in the West Sea for more than half a month and has not returned yet. I was afraid that you would be bored, so I will come to see you as soon as I return to Kunlun." The woman standing at the table, kneading dough with her sleeves rolled up, was gentle and bright, with a soft voice, just like a spring breeze blowing towards your face.

Xia Sangyi pressed the dough and looked out the window: "Ayao, has anyone bullied you while Yunshanjun was away?"

"Good sister, I'm not that easy to be bullied." A sweet and smiling voice came from outside the window. Chang Yao, who was bending over to pick up fallen flowers, stood up and looked at Xia Sangyi in the room with her bright almond eyes. "Leave the affairs of the mountain to Jiuping Peak Master. I will eat, drink and have fun at Shangyun Peak every day."

Xia Sangyi looked at the overly beautiful and delicate face in front of the window. The woman's eyes were raised with a hint of laziness. She showed curiosity when she glanced at the dough in her hand, but her posture was well-behaved and endearing.

"When I came back, I heard that the disaster in the West Sea had been resolved. You don't have to worry. Yunshan Jun should be back in the next two days." Xia Sangyi rolled the dough into long strips, over and over again, and said, "Bring the flowers in, wash them, and then mash them to extract the juice."

Chang Yao did as she was told.

She came into the house to get some clean water to wash the peach petals in a basket, and said casually, "I heard them say a few days ago that every time Da Shan Yin Jun came back from going out, he would go to the kitchen first to eat the red oil wontons you made."

For this reason, people in the three mountains of Kunlun said that the two couples were deeply in love.

"Hmm?" Xia Sangyi turned his head to look at her and smiled gently, "You want to eat too?"

"I want to learn." Chang Yao was washing the petals attentively, and replied in a low voice, "When Yunshan comes back, I will make him a bowl of food. Come to think of it, I have never cooked for him before."

Her face was reflected in the water, but there was no love in the eyes of the woman who spoke tender words.

Chang Yao’s idea is: Song Jixue must also have what others have.

Otherwise, how could she show that she loved him?

If others saw that she did not love Song Jixue, she would not be able to bear the title of Madam Yunshan, let alone use the privileges that came with this identity to do things in Kunlun.

"Then we won't make peach blossom pastry today. I'll teach you how to make red oil wonton. Wait..." Before Xia Sangyi finished her words, the maid came forward and said, "Madam, the leader of Jiuping Peak is here, and he brought Xue Hao and the young master of Wushan with him."

The maid looked a little helpless and said, "The master of Jiuping Peak said that these two people had a private fight on the small mountain peak and accidentally killed the three-legged phoenix that flew by."

There is only one three-legged phoenix in all of Kunlun. It is extremely precious. Even the sect’s janitor knows whose pet it is.

Chang Yao was stunned for a moment: "Dead?"

"Yes." The maid bowed her head and said, "Madam Wushan is here too."

"Then go ahead." Chang Yao wiped the water off her hands and said to Xia Sangyi, "I'll be back soon."

Xia Sangyi nodded and watched her go to the main hall, with a hint of worry between her brows.

The precious gift Song Jixue gave her was killed, but Chang Yao couldn't feel sad. She had to try hard to suppress the smile on the corner of her mouth so that no one would see that she was relieved.

The three-legged phoenix is precious and beautiful. Its bones can be made into excellent weapons and its wings can be made into beautiful clothes. But Chang Yao doesn't like it. There is brutality and murderous intent towards the three-legged phoenix in her blood. Every time she strokes its soft wings, she has to suppress the urge to break its neck.

But Song Jixue thought she liked it, so Chang Yao had to act according to his thinking. It was also a helpless move to let the three-legged phoenix go outside. If he kept it by her side and faced her face to face every day, it would die in her hands sooner or later.

It will be more difficult to explain then.

Unfortunately, the three-legged phoenix was too precious and was regarded as a divine bird by the cultivation world. Chang Yao had to take it out for a walk occasionally to deal with others, which was very torturous for her mentally.

Now that she had learned of the death of the Three-legged Phoenix, she really couldn't feel sad at all.

  Even pretending is difficult.

Chang Yao walked from the kitchen to the main hall. When she walked up the steps to the door, she saw two figures in the room, one kneeling and one standing. The kneeling figure was thin, but his back was straight, like a tree.

我的危险夫人 My dangerous lady Chinese novel Chapter 1

 Chapter 1: The Headmaster's Wife

Before Yunshan Jun went down the mountain, he had instructed that when he was away, all affairs of the sect would be handled by the head of Jiuping Peak.

The master of Jiuping Peak likes to learn from the disciples in the sect, accept disciples from the same mountain, and care about the future flowers of the immortal cultivation world. He will answer all questions related to cultivation and is approachable, but he is not good at managing things.

Because he has a soft heart and cares for his juniors, he will not bear to punish his disciples if they make mistakes and act cute and pitiful.

But now, except for him, the other five peak masters of Kunlun Yunshan are either seriously injured in bed or are on missions outside and cannot come back. The master of Jiuping Peak has no choice but to bite the bullet and take over.

Since the beginning of the year, a large number of demons have been causing chaos in the human world. Bad things have happened one after another, and there have been casualties in all the major immortal sects. In return, important news has been received that the overlord of the demon world intends to attack the human world.

The demon world first plans to awaken the ferocious beasts sealed in the human world.

The vicious beasts in the West Sea broke through the seal and wreaked havoc on the human world. Kunlun Yunshanjun went there just to suppress the beasts again.

Who would have thought that this trip would last for more than half a month.

The head of Jiuping Peak worked diligently every day to handle the affairs of Yunshan. At first, it was fine. It was nothing more than a disciple or a disciple of a certain peak breaking the rules, or a desperate demon trying to sneak into Yunshan to cause trouble, etc., all within his control, until today: "Master, Master! It's not good! Something big has happened!"

The leader of Jiuping Peak had just sat down and stretched out his chopsticks to pick up any meat when he was startled by the scream of his little disciple.

With a white, plump, and kind face like Maitreya Buddha, he kindly watched his young disciple stumble in through the door, holding the door with one hand and said in a panic, "Master! Senior Brother Xue and the young master of Wushan are fighting on the small mountain peak! The two of them fought back and forth and almost overturned the medicine hall! And, moreover, the three-legged phoenix of the headmaster's wife happened to fly by and was affected by the sword energy of the two... dead, dead."

After hearing this, the head of Jiuping Peak silently put down his chopsticks, thinking that it was over, something serious had happened. Not to mention that his most favored disciple had beaten up the most favored young master of Wushan next door, the most important thing was that the two of them had killed the pet that his head had given to his wife.

Everyone in Kunlun knew that the wife of the leader of Yunshan liked the three-legged phoenix the most. Yunshan Jun, who doted on his own wife the most, loved the three-legged phoenix as much as his wife, and allowed the three-legged phoenix to fly freely in Yunshan.

As a result, I was too free and it broke easily.

The young disciple looked at the full banquet on the table, swallowed his saliva, and asked cautiously: "Master, do you want to eat more?"

"What to eat?" Jiuping Peak Master stood up helplessly, "Let's go to the small mountain peak to have a look."

  Small mountain peak.

The area near the medicine house located on the mountainside was in a mess. Debris was still falling down from the mountain top that was cut off by sword energy. The flowers and trees in front of the yard were all fallen. The chief pharmacist of the medicine house was sitting in the yard with his legs crossed, rolling his eyes at the two young men with their heads down.

Great Pharmacist: "Fight, fight again. Weren't you very capable just now? The sword energy was sweeping outwards, as if you were high on drugs and wanted to blow my medicine house away. Why don't you fight now?"

The young man on the left, wearing a golden door uniform, pursed his lips. He had thin eyebrows, peach blossom eyes, red lips and white teeth. He was very handsome, but his eyebrows and eyes were full of gloom.

The young man on the right is dressed in black, with red runes embroidered on his wrists and a half-curved long sword on his waist. His right hand is tightly gripping the hilt, his brows are furrowed, and his eyes are full of irritability and anxiety.

He was the first to ask, "Is there any hope? If my mother knew about this, I wouldn't be able to enter Yunshan again for three years!"

"That's perfect." Xue Hao pulled the corner of his mouth lightly and revealed a cold smile, "If it weren't for you making trouble, how could this three-legged phoenix die?"

"I didn't realize, Xue Hao, that you are quite good at shirking responsibility. You want me to take full responsibility with just a few words?" Wushan's young master Pei Wenjue's forehead twitched and he said angrily, "Why don't you open your dog eyes and see if the sword moves left on it are your own!"

白日提灯 Daytime lantern chapter 1

 Chapter 1: The Wind Rises

The north wind was bleak, the winter was chilly and the city of Liangzhou was deathly silent.

Perhaps the word "generally" should be removed.

At this moment, the city of Liangzhou was littered with corpses, blood flowed like a river, and the stench was overwhelming. The city was like a huge tomb, and even the sound of breathing was too harsh.

A crow flew from afar and landed on the eaves. Its hoarse low crows tore through the silent night. Then came the second, the third, the fourth... They came in groups, covering the sky and landing on the streets and alleys of the city, stepping on the corpses that filled the streets and alleys.  I don't know which crow fell when a pair of light apricot cloth shoes stepped on the ground of the main street of Liangzhou City and were instantly stained with blood.

The owner of the cloth shoes was a girl in a white dress, who looked to be about seventeen or eighteen years old. Against the bleak red background, she looked like a white lotus blooming in a pool of blood.

She held a jade pendant in her hand, her index finger hooked on the pendant string and kept turning it, and the pendant emitted a bright blue light.

"It looks like a massacre in the city..." The girl's tone was quite calm.

An ordinary girl would probably faint from fright when seeing such a bloody and horrific scene, but unfortunately He Simu is not an ordinary girl.

  She is an evil ghost.

When a person dies, if he is stubborn and refuses to realize his wrongdoings and has unfulfilled wishes, he will turn into a wandering soul and be unable to be reborn. The wandering souls will eat each other for a hundred years and become evil ghosts.

  Evil ghosts eat people.

He Simu, unfortunately, was an evil ghost looking for food.

The night was pitch black, and one could not see one's hand in front of one's face. The whole city was filled with corpses piled on top of each other. He Simu's movements were not hindered at all. She moved flexibly between the torsos of the corpses, always able to step into the most suitable gap. Unfortunately, she had just taken six steps when her feet were hugged by someone.

  “Help…Help…”

He Simu looked down and saw a man with a knife cut on his stomach, his flesh flying around, holding her feet. His features were stained with blood and his eyes were blurred, but he pointed to one side tremblingly.

  "Save...my son...save...Chen Ying..."

He Simu glanced in the direction he pointed. There was a child of seven or eight years old, who was pressed under several corpses, with only a pale face exposed. He was still breathing vaguely, but his eyes were tightly closed, probably fainted.

She turned her gaze back to the dishevelled, dying man and said, "Your son is in much better condition than you are. It's you who is dying."

"Help..." The man seemed to be unable to hear He Simu's words and just kept begging stubbornly.

He Simu then squatted down, put his hands on his knees, and looked at the dying man levelly: "I will eat you and then save your son, are you willing? You have to think carefully, those who are eaten by evil spirits will lose a ball of soul fire, and will suffer many disasters in the next life. I don't know how many reincarnations it will take to recover."

The man seemed confused and thought for a while before he understood what she meant. He opened his cloudy eyes wide in horror and his hands trembled a little.

"Don't want to?" He Simu turned his head.

The man shivered for a while, tears welling up in his eyes. He whispered, "...willing...willing..."

He Simu narrowed his eyes and smiled with some pity: "Okay."

Then she grabbed the man's hair, forced him to look up, and bit his neck. Her sharp canine teeth pierced deeply into his blood vessels. Blood gushed out and splashed all over He Simu's face. The jade pendant in her hand shone brightly and then dimmed.

The man's hand holding her right foot fell into a pool of blood. A ball of light rose from the man's body and slowly rose into the dark night sky.

People originally have three soul fires, located on the shoulders and top of the head respectively. They merge into one at the time of death, like a bright lamp rising into the sky or a shooting star moving in the retrograde direction - this is the death that only evil spirits can see.

High-level evil spirits like He Simu feed on the soul fire on top of people's heads.

Without a soul fire, the soul light of a man in his later life would be much dimmer than that of others. To suffer for several lifetimes for the sake of one lifetime of father-son affection, isn't it not worth it? But mortals love to do this losing business.

He Simu simply let go of his hand, and the man's heavy body fell to the ground with a thud. Along with this heavy muffled sound, the dawn began to appear, and the pitch-black darkness was diluted. It seemed that the sun was about to rise, and the crows also became restless one after another.

She clapped her hands, stepped over the corpses lying on the ground, followed the bloodstains left by the man as he crawled over, and walked towards where the man's son was.

To be honest, with He Simu's strength, he would not be able to resist even if he ate the man directly. However, a guy who has done such a thing as a ghost always has his own rules. He Simu has a high respect for his food and always keeps his promise of equal exchange.

After she stood in front of the pile of torsos, she reached out to lift the body that had fallen on the child. Unexpectedly, the body was injured in the neck, and when she lifted the head of the body, the head was directly separated from the torso, and the bloody torso fell back on the child again.

The child's face turned even paler after being hit.

He Simu was quite helpless. He held up the dirty head, frowned, and stared at the head owner's eyes wide open with fear.

"The Daliang army is coming!" A shout came from the distant city gate. It was a slightly old voice, as if it had used up all its strength to shout out such a sentence, and the voice was trembling and close to tearing.

Noisy voices and the sound of horse hooves could be heard from afar. The strong breath of living people like a storm dispelled the air of death. Cries of joy could be heard from all around. The survivors in the city ran out from their hiding places one by one, and the grieving crowd gathered on the long street.

The city gate at the end of the long street slowly opened, the sky was getting light, and the morning light was just beginning to appear. Countless horse hooves and military boots stepped into the blood-stained street, and the procession was endless.

He Simu turned his eyes and saw the man at the front of the team.

He looked very young, still a teenager, riding a tall white horse, wearing silver armor, facing the gradually clear morning light. This man was slender and strong, with high eyebrows and nose bridge, and a pair of exceptionally bright and clear, slightly upturned almond eyes.

This is an extremely handsome and noble young man.

He came towards the morning light, like a sharp blade splitting the darkness.

This was the first time He Simu saw Duan Xu. It was dawn and everything was waking up. It was a good time, but there was no beautiful scenery - after all, she was standing among the corpses scattered all over the ground and the people crying and grieving, and she was holding a dead person's head in her hand.

The young man glanced at the miserable situation in the city, frowned slightly, and looked up along the long street into the distance.

He Simu, covered in blood, looked no different from the other survivors and did not attract the boy's attention. She threw away the head in her hand and looked at the boy inquiringly.

——To be precise, He Simu was looking at the slender black sword at his waist, with silver carvings on both sides and waist.

The evil ghost had good eyesight, and she could see the details of the sword clearly at a glance. He Simu thought that this sword looked so familiar, where had she seen it before?

She searched through her long memories for a long time before she suddenly realized, wasn't this the sword that her uncle had forged more than three hundred years ago when he was still alive?

Poluang is a spiritual sword second only to Buzhou Sword. It is a benevolent sword and is coveted by immortals. This young man looks like an ordinary general and does not look like a cultivator. How could he have Poluang?

"General! You finally came to save us!" A crying and wailing man ran out from He Simu's right, knocking her to the ground and causing her to stumble. Seeing the man running to the street and kneeling down to kowtow, He Simu glanced at the people around her who were either grieving or surprised, and realized that it seemed a bit out of place for her to be standing here.

Should she at least cry a little?

She thought for a moment, then bit her tongue hard, and the body she possessed immediately burst into tears.

With tears in her eyes, she smiled as if she had seen a savior. She lifted her skirt and pushed aside the man who was kneeling in front of her. She ran straight to the young man's horse and shouted, "General, the Huchies massacred the city before retreating. There were countless casualties in the city. Are you here to save us?"

The young man reined in his horse, and the soldiers behind him stopped one after another. He looked around at the people around him, with a calm face that did not match his age. He said clearly: "I am Duan Xu, the commander of the Daliang Tabai Army. The bandits have retreated to the north of Guanhe. Today, Liangzhou has returned to Daliang.

After a pause, he said, "As long as I am here, the Huqi people will never set foot in Liangzhou again."

The surviving people burst into tears of mixed joy and sorrow. He Simu followed suit and shouted twice, pretending to be extremely sad, and reached out to pull the boy's sleeve.

The guards around the young man were about to draw their swords. He Simu shuddered and his eyes turned red. The young man waved his hand to signal them that it was not necessary. Then he took out a handkerchief from his arms, bent down and handed it to He Simu: "Wipe the blood."

His fingers were so slender and white that the blue veins were very obvious. It was obvious that they were once a pair of noble hands, but now they had many purple and blue scars and looked weathered.

He Simu held back tears and touched his hand as she took the handkerchief. The moment she lowered her head, a smile appeared in her eyes.

As expected, he wanted to find a beautiful and delicate girl to possess him. Her delicate crying made people feel soft-hearted. Not only did they not drive her away, they even gave her a handkerchief.

But she just felt the pulse of this young man, and he was indeed an ordinary person without any spiritual power. Strange, would the Sword of Delusion Breaking be used by such a person? Is he the master of the Sword of Delusion Breaking?

While thinking, He Simu suddenly felt that the scene in front of her began to become erratic. She thought to herself that this body she depended on might faint. She hurriedly pointed at the child in the pile of corpses next to her and shouted, "Help me save that child!"

Then he saw his body tilt and fall limply in front of the young general's horse.

...The disadvantage of possessing a delicate little girl is that her body is too fragile and she will faint if she doesn't sleep for a night.

一念三千 One thought three thousand- Chinese novel

一念三千_沉筱之

English name: one thought three thousand
Author: Chen xiaozhi
Rating:3/5
Story: 5/5
Plot: 4/5 ;the plot extremely complicated.
Character: 3/5
Ending: HE

One of those story where the plot and storyline is great but you hate the main characters.
The summary as follow:

“The male protagonist is a scheming man, and the whole story is contributed by his tricks one after another. Don't get lost in this.

This story tells the story of a greedy, lustful and narrow-minded heroine, who is determined to make herself a cannon fodder.”

Personally, I don’t like ML (very much) and FL is not very likable either. Other than the main characters, the other characters is all pretty decent.
